The new Warner Bros. themed Smash Bros. clone has been picking up steam and the new leaks have fans aflutter with excitement.

It seems fairly normal news these days, that when a game with huge fan interest comes out someone somewhere is going to dig through the files to see if there are any secrets lurking in the code.

Sure enough, Warner’s new fighting game, MultiVersus, has a roster featuring characters like Shaggy from Scooby-Doo being pitted against Batman or Bugs Bunny. The game is currently in testing and those who have already got their hands on it have found it to be surprisingly good.

The leaks will keep on coming as the game gets closer to launch and will, as with Fortnite, continue to reveal information as fans dig through the updates coming in the future.

Warner’s current roster also includes kids cartoon favourites like Finn and Jake from Adventure Time, as well as Garnet from Steven Universe. However, the next updates coming to the roster appear to include characters that you wouldn’t particularly expect to fit that child-friendly aesthetic.

Game of Thrones characters Daenerys and The Hound, as well as Gandalf and Mad Max, will supposedly feature. Others like Ben 10, Godzilla, and Neo seem easier fits – thematically at least.

The game doesn’t even seem to be stopping at just Warner’s own properties, as references to a ‘Ninja’ and ‘Brute’ can be found within the game’s files.

Ninja is speculated to be Naruto, who was also recently licensed out to Epic Games for Fortnite. Meanwhile, Brute could refer to one of two different Disney properties.

The files relating to the Brute have the word ‘Hulk’ contained inside, but references to Wreck-It Ralph were also found.

Fans are currently unsure if Gandalf, who was originally seen in the leaked images before the game’s announcement, will be ready for launch, as the character has not been given a code number like the rest of the roster.

This includes a leaked LeBron James, who appears to be launching alongside Iron Giant and Marvin The Martian.

No one’s sure who Emmet is though, as it could be Doc Brown from Back to the Future or Chris Pratt’s character from The Lego Movie.

The leaked skins do thankfully point out that Pickle Rick will be imprisoned behind the store, saving everyone the vague embarrassment of bringing it back.

Also, Cake the Cat from Adventure Time’s gender-swapped episodes will be a ‘premium’ skin with the original voice actress reprising her role.
