If you want to level up your FUT strategy and teams, you better not miss the first FIFA 23 Prime Gaming drop that went live this month.
As FIFA 23 has already been out for almost a month, it’s only natural that you’d start getting exclusive content through Amazon’s Prime Gaming rewards.
Following on from the last FIFA 22 Prime Gaming drop in September, now you’ve got brand new packs to help boost the game’s Ultimate Team mode.
Like with most of the franchise’s previous editions, Amazon are promising a new drop every month, starting from Wednesday, October 18. However, keep in mind that to get access to these freebies, you’ll need to have an active Amazon Prime subscription, as well as link your account to FIFA 23.
What are the FIFA 23 Prime Gaming rewards for October 2022?
The current FIFA 23 Prime Gaming rewards will give you some very handy bonuses to help progress your team in FUT, as well as five matches with this year’s top wonderkid Kylian MbappĂ© – who might be making an IRL switch to Real Madrid in the January transfer window.
This could turn out to be a deciding factor for getting some Rivals wins over the next few weeks, as by climbing up divisions you’ll get access to more and more valuable rewards until you reach Elite.
Since you’ll also receive two free player picks that sit quite high on FIFA 23’s ratings, if you’re lucky you could get your hands on some of the best strikers in the game – or even 2022’s Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema.
The FIFA 23 Prime Gaming rewards for October 2022 are:
- x7 Gold Rare-tier Players
- x2 Player Pick with min Overall Rating of 81+
- x12 Rare-tier Consumables
- x1 Kylian Mbappé on 5 games loan
This special deal with Amazon Gaming includes 12 reward packs or one per month over a 12-month period, so you’ll need to set a reminder every month if you don’t want to miss out on any freebies.
How to link your Amazon account to FIFA 23
To unlock the Prime Gaming rewards in FIFA 23, you first need to make sure you have an active Amazon Prime membership, even if you’re just testing out its one-month free trial. Then you simply need to link that Amazon account to the EA account associated with your FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
Though you should be careful when linking your accounts, as the rewards will be available only on the first platform you log into with your linked EA account.
To make sure everything goes smoothly, take a look at this step-by-step guide on how to link your Amazon account to FIFA 23 and claim the rewards:
- Go to the FIFA 23 Prime Gaming page, sign in, and click the pack you want to claim.
- Below the ‘Link game account’ section, select ‘Go to Electronic Arts’ and allow Amazon access.
- Sign in to your EA account linked with FIFA 23 and FUT, and then select ‘Link Accounts.’
- Select ‘Return to Amazon’ and then ‘Complete claim’ in the FIFA 23 rewards menu.
- Launch FIFA 23 and go to the ‘Store’ in Ultimate Team, and select ‘My Packs.’
- Open your first Prime Gaming pack to redeem its rewards.
After linking your accounts and claiming the content, you can launch FIFA 23 and select its Ultimate Team mode. Once you’re on the home page, navigate to the store and then select My Packs, which is where your Prime Gaming Pack will be waiting for you.
If you don’t immediately see your rewards in the store, there’s no need to panic as it can take up to one hour for them to appear.
Unfortunately, there’s no solution if you link to the wrong account and have already claimed the rewards, so you’ll possibly have to start your FUT journey all over again.
The only option that EA gives you is to change the account linked to your Prime Gaming one, once every six months, which you can do by visiting the customer portal.
